Eternal Life Part 2

2 Corinthians 3:18 (NKJV) We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

What you behold you become.

. . . In gazing with wonder at [Jesus] the blueprint likeness of God displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking at ourselves! Every feature of his image is mirrored in us! This is the most radical transformation engineered by the Spirit of the Lord; we are led from an inferior mind-set to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. Mankind in his glory! – MIRROR

Eternal life is a priceless treasure, the gift of God. It is not to be confused with mere endless existence . . . . This life is nothing less than Christ in you . . . . Separation from God is eternal death; union with God is eternal life. – Unger’s Bible Dictionary

I pray that they may be united with us so that the world will believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me. I did this so that they are united in the same way we are. I am in them, and you are in me. So they are completely united. In this way the world knows that you have sent me and that you have loved them in the same way you have loved me.

John 5:19-20 (CW) The Son does nothing on His own, but everything He does is according to the Father’s will and only what the Father Himself would do. The Father loves the Son and shows Him what to do.

. . . The Father and son work together. – WMF

. . . I have said to you that I constantly and absolutely make my Father’s activity the reason and measure of my activity . . . . Self is never the starting-point of my action . . . . His constant revelation is proof of His love. You have had experience as to how I was led to perform these Sabbath cures. The time is coming when He will lead me to the doing of greater deeds than these. – RIGGS

John 10:30, 37-38 (AMP) I and the Father are One [in nature] . . . . If I do not do the works of My Father [that is, the miracles that only God could perform], then do not believe Me. But if I am doing them, even if you do not believe Me or have faith in Me, [at least] believe the works [that I do—admit that they are the works of God], so that you may know and keep on knowing [clearly—without any doubt] that the Father is in Me, and I am in the Father [that is, I am One with Him].

1 Corinthians 6:17 (TLB) If you give yourself to the Lord, you and Christ are joined together as one person.
