Getting God’s Vision

Getting God’s Vision

GETTING GOD’S VISION

Acts 3:19-22 (WE) Stop doing wrong things. Turn to God again. Then the wrong things you have done will be wiped away altogether. The Lord will give you a new start and make you very glad. He will send you Jesus. He was the one God chose to be the Christ. But he must wait in heaven until the time when all things will be made new again as they were at first. By his holy prophets God spoke of all this from the beginning.

Psalm 47:1-9 (PESHITTA) Clap hands, all you peoples and sing to God in a voice of praise! Because LORD JEHOVAH is exalted and awesome; he is The Great King over all the Earth. For he has subdued for us the nations under us, and the peoples under our feet. He has chosen us for his inheritance and the honor of Jacob whom he loved. God went up in glory [Jesus ascended]! LORD JEHOVAH with the sound of the trumpet! Sing to God in glory! Sing to our King! Because the King of the whole Earth is God! Sing praise to him! God reigns over the nations. God sits upon his holy throne. The Rulers of the nations were turned to the God of Abraham because the dominions of the Earth are God’s, and he is greatly exalted.

Matthew 6:9-10 (CEB) Our Father who is in heaven, uphold the holiness of your name. Bring in your kingdom so that your will is done on earth as it’s done in heaven.

. . . Come and set up your kingdom, so that everyone on earth will obey you, as you are obeyed in heaven. – CEV

How does God restore all things? He starts by restoring you.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

. . . I will bless you with a future filled with hope—a future of success, not of suffering. – CEV

. . . to give you hope in your final outcome . . . – AMPC

Everyone has a past. No one got to pick how they started. No one had everything! Imperfect people can never provide us with perfection. Most people are stuck in the rat race of trying to chase the thing they feel they didn’t have. But God wants us to transition into chasing Him!

Matthew 6:33 (GNT) Be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things.

Psalm 40:1-5 (NCV) I waited patiently for the Lord. He turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of destruction, out of the sticky mud. He stood me on a rock and made my feet steady. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many people will see this and worship him. Then they will trust the Lord. Happy is the person who trusts the Lord, who doesn’t turn to those who are proud or to those who worship false gods. Lord my God, you have done many miracles. Your plans for us are many. If I tried to tell them all, there would be too many to count.

Job 5:9 (ISV) He [God] is always doing great things that cannot be explained, countless awesome deeds.

John 20:30 (VOICE) Jesus performed many other wondrous signs that are not written in this book.

John 21:25 (VOICE) There are so many things that Jesus said and did; and if these accounts were also written down, the books could not be contained in the entire cosmos.

Jeremiah 1:12 (AMP) The Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am [actively] watching over My word to fulfill it.”

Psalm 14:2 (AMP) The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there are any who understand (act wisely), Who [truly] seek after God, [longing for His wisdom and guidance].

1 Corinthians 15:23-26 (AMPC) Christ (the Messiah) [is] the firstfruits [the first to be resurrected], then those who are Christ’s [own will be resurrected] at His coming. After that comes the end (the completion), when He delivers over the kingdom to God the Father after rendering inoperative and abolishing every [other] rule and every authority and power. For [Christ] must be King and reign until He has put all [His] enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be subdued and abolished is death.
