Living in the Last Days Part 2

Living in the Last Days Part 2

  • Roughly 80% of Bible prophecy is already fulfilled.
  • Roughly 20% of Bible prophecy is to be fulfilled.

Acts 2:16-17 (NIV) This is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “In the last days, God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit on all people.’”

The “Last Days” is simply the final dispensation before the return of Jesus.

Revelation 1:9 (NKJV) I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation . . . .

Matthew 24:14 (NIV) This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Matthew 24:3-9, 29-31 (TPT) [Jesus’s disciples said] “What sign should we expect to signal your coming and the completion of this age?” Jesus answered . . . “Nations will go to war against nations and kingdoms against kingdoms. And there will be terrible [great] earthquakes, horrible epidemics, and famines in place after place. This is how the birth pains of the new age will begin!” “You can expect to be persecuted, even killed; for you will be hated by all the nations because of your love for me . . . . 29 The sun will be darkened and the moon [will] give no light. The stars will fall from the sky and all the cosmic powers will be shaken. Then the sign announcing the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn over him. And they will see the Son of Man appearing in the clouds of heaven, revealed with mighty power, great splendor, and glory. And he will send his messengers with the loud blast of the trumpet, and with a great voice they will gather his beloved chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other!”

  1. White Horse—Nation rises against nation
  2. Red Horse—War takes peace from the earth
  3. Black Horse—Famine, shortages & inflation
  4. Pale Horse—Diseases, epidemics, and more war
  5. Souls Under Altar—Cry of the martyrs
  6. Great Earthquakes—Rapture of the elect
  7. Unlocks the Seven Trumpets—Great Tribulation

Revelation 4:1 (LDB) Come up here . . . and I will show you what must happen as the work and witness of the churches is drawing to a close.

Revelation 6:1-2 (NIV) I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals . . . and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.

1914-1918 WW1 – THE GREAT WAR

Austria-Hungary goes to war (bow) after the Serbian Kingdom assassinated their Crown Prince, joining forces with Germany.

Revelation 6:3-4 (NIV) When the Lamb opened the second seal . . . another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make people kill each other. To him was given a large sword.

Russia allies with the Serbian Kingdom mobilizing 15 million troops forming the “great sword,” “taking peace from the earth.”

Revelation 6:5-6 (NIV) When the Lamb opened the third seal . . . there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, “Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!”

The War caused famine, shortages and inflation. Food prices rose 90%-1,000% between 1914 and 1918. This set the stage for Black Tuesday and Black Thursday.

Revelation 6:7-8 (NIV) When the Lamb opened the fourth seal . . . I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague.

In 1918-1920 the Spanish Flu infected 1/4th of the World’s Population. WW2 followed closely behind in 1939-1945.

Revelation 6:9-11 (NIV) When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed.

There have been 25 million martyrs from the time of Jesus to the 20th century. In the last 100 years 47 million Christians have been martyred.

Mark 13:28 (NIV) Lesson from the fig tree . . . as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know [the end] is near.

The Nation of Israel is the fig tree (Hos 9:10, Jer 24, Jer 8:5, 13)

  • 1948 – The Nation of Israel is Reborn (Ezk 11:17, Jer 16:14-15)
  • 1967 – Jerusalem Won Back (Lk 21:24, Is 27:12-13, Jer 30:3)
  • 1977-2023 – Ethiopian Jews Brought Back to Israel (Zeph 3:10, Is 11:11-12)

I have been watching the news concerning Israel from 2 sources. TV 7 (an Israeli station) and Eric Stakelbeck who hosts a YouTube channel called The Watchman. What I’ve been hearing leads me to believe we are very close to the fulfillment of Ezekiel 38 and 39.
