Living in the Last Days Part 3

Living in the Last Days Part 3

ARE YOU RAPTURE READY?

Matthew 24:39-44 (DIST) The Great Flood came without any signs, so, before the Judgment there will be a “Rapture” – without any signs . . . . The “Rapture” will be a blessing only for the born-again. Those who reject reality and therefore do not prepare to meet God will miss the “Rapture.”

Jesus’s 4 Rapture Parables
  • Faithful or Unfaithful Servants (Matt 24:44-51)
    • Are you faithful to your kingdom assignment? This isn’t about doing “more,” it’s simply about doing your assignment.
  • On Fire or Snuffed Out Virgins (Matt 25:1-13)
    • Are you on fire for Jesus and shinning as a light?
  • Bearing Fruit or Non-Fruit Bearing Managers (Matt 25:14-30)
    • Are you bearing fruit for God? (Gal. 5:22-23, John 15:2)

John 15:2 (AMP) Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

  • Loving Sheep or Selfish Goats (Matt 25:31-46)

Matthew 25:31-46 (CW) When the Son of God comes in all His glory and the angels with Him . . . everyone on earth will be gathered together before Him, and He will separate those who are genuinely His from those who are not . . . . He will say to those on His right, “You are God’s children. Come! It’s time for you to receive your inheritance. When others were thirsty, you gave them water. When they were hungry, you gave them food, and when they were without a place to live, you took them in. When they had nothing suitable to wear, you gave them clothes. When they were sick, you visited and comforted them, and when they were in jail, you didn’t forget them. What you did for them, you did for me . . . . Then the king will say, “I know you didn’t realize this because a change took place in your life, and kindness and compassion became part of your nature. What you did by caring for the underprivileged was as pleasing to my Father as if you had done it for me. Then He will say to those on His left, “You can’t be given a home in my Father’s kingdom, for you are still controlled by your sinful nature . . . . The King will say, “Because you didn’t care about others, I know you don’t care about me. I have no choice . . . because in my kingdom everyone cares about everyone else.”

Revelation 2-3 Church – Warnings

If you do NOT repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. I will fight against you with the sword of my mouth. You will suffer intensely, unless you repent. If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come. I will then repay each of you according to your deeds.

Matthew 24-25 Parable – Warnings

I will assign you a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Truly I tell you, I don’t know you. You wicked, lazy servant! Throw this worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Revelation 2-3 Church – Blessings

To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. I will give you life as your victor’s crown. You will not be hurt at all by the second death. I will give you hidden manna. I will also give you a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it. I will give authority over the nations—just as I have received authority from my Father. I will also give you the morning star. You will be dressed in white. Your name will never be blotted out from the book of life. I will acknowledge you before my Father and his angels. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. You will be a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will you leave it. I will write on you the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on you my new name. I will give you the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Matthew 24-25 Parable – Blessings

I will put you in charge of all My possessions. Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness! For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. So come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

Matthew 6:33 (ESV) Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
